Outreach

Have you wanted to experience the power of God while you make a difference in this world? Or learn how to step out of your comfort zone in a totally different culture? Do you have a passion growing inside you to share the gospel and your testimony?

Outreach is a time to get a taste of a totally new culture and show them God's love. It's to help you take all that you've learned and put it into practice! For many students, this is when concepts become reality. It's when classroom talks transform into real-life experiences. Outreach will take you on an adventure beyond your comfort zone, where you learn about a new culture and God’s radical love for the people in it.

In years past, we've sent teams to many different locations. It's fun to go to new places and meet new people but we also love to sent teams back to places we've already been. It has been beautiful to watch our relationship with these locations and ministries grow. It's also exciting to see the legacy that previous teams have left. In the past we have sent teams to South Africa and Indonesia, but we always seek God on what He has planned for each school and that could be somewhere different. Final outreach locations will be announced the second week of DTS.

"The experience of going overseas to a completely different culture was challenging, in the best way. I learned that God's love doesn't change with different cultures or languages. With every person we met, it was so cool to see the newness of God's love to them and that love was the language that brought us all together." - Ellie Clarke DTS '17
