Meet the Staff Friday. Meet Tom from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 . Growing up in the church, I realised that God is real. The moment I stopped going to church for a bit was the moment I realised that God is very interested in me personally. That He knows me better than anybody else and that He wants to work with me. . In my DTS I learnt that God is a really good father! We don’t have to hold back, because God is on our side! We are Free! Therefore we can be so bold! No need to be afraid, not on the mountain, not for trying new things, not in relationships, because perfect love casts out all fear! . In Davos I am focussing on developing young leaders. To help them to see themselves the way God sees them. And the perfect way to do that is point them to Jesus. l love seeing them grow in their strengths and get closer and closer to their full potential. Meet the staff Wednesday. Meet Caroline from Belgium 🇧🇪 . After hitting rock bottom multiple times in my life I came at a point where I gave it one last shot. I committed everything that was in me to Jesus and started following Him fully. From that moment on, my life started to change tremendously. From knowing hopelesness & darkness, and living with anorexia and depression for over a decade, I stepped into the understanding of what it is to live a life of hope, joy, peace and unconditional love. Seeing the miracle that God did in my life over the last couple of years makes me fall in love with Him over and over again. . The biggest lesson I’ve learned on Dts was to really enjoy life to the fullest and to realise that most of life happens outside of my comfortzone. If I want to see growth, I need to consciously step out of my place of safety and put my trust in the Lord. . I want to share God and the beauty of life with the love and mind of Christ. I want to see lives changed, and see people come in their God-given identity and destiny! Being part of DTS, walking alongside the students, see them grow and step out in this world together in missions, is what makes me beyond excited. Meet the Staff Thursday. Meet Josiah from Alaska . When I was 16, my life was a mess. There was so much going on in my life and I was at the end of my rope. One night, I gave up and told God that if he could fix the broken mess that I made, I would serve him the rest of my life. Over the next year or so, I was radically transformed! . During my DTS I realized that it's easy to just be a lukewarm christian. It's easy to coast through life knowing that you're saved. I didn't want that. I realized I wanted Him to be the Lord of my life and not just the savior of it. . I am super pumped to be on staff here at YWAM Davos! Meet the staff Monday. Meet Christian from Canada! . The way I saw Jesus move in people, I started to follow Jesus. Then I realized that people are capable of so much more in life when they allow God to move through them. . My biggest lesson learnt on DTS is that my identity Is not in my past decisions but in what God speaks into my life. It is about what I choose to do with what He is calling me to do. Now it is my main goal in life to stay on the path that he has for me because He is able to do miraculous things with me. . Meet the Staff Friday. @lucaskroeker . I started following Chirst because I realized life was so much bigger than me, and the only way to get true peace and joy was through life was with Chirst. . Something I learned on my DTS was how personal God truly is in his relationship with us and how different that can look for others. One weekend when I was fasting God spoke to me saying "How hungry you are for food right now doesn't compare with how hungry I am wanting to get to know you better". That really hit home! .
