Visa requirements for Switzerland
Since 12.12.2008 Switzerland is part of the Schengen/Dublin agreement.
Leadership Training Courses
Every student whose nation is not part of the Schengen/ Dublin agreement and whose lecture phase takes longer than 90 days (such as the BLS, BLS Plus, SALT and SPLD) needs a student visa. The student visa application must be submitted to the Swiss Embassy at the latest 8 weeks before the school begins (Form D). You will need an invitation letter from YWAM Wiler to apply for your visa. As soon as your application is complete (including the various reference forms) and you are accepted for the school, this letter will be sent to you.
We must have your completed application 10 weeks before the school begins.
Please note, that the visa and residence permit cost about an additional sFr. 280.
You may enter Switzerland as a tourist. Please note, that the Schengen immigration requirement states, that you may only stay for a total of 90 days in the Schengen agreement area within a period of 180 days (6 months). That means you can NOT enter any of the Schengen nations within 90 days prior to the school start. We will spend a total of 90 days in Switerland and than we will be outside of Schengen for 90day during our Outreach Phase. After the two week debriefing time you have the of your second 90days for traveling if you would like to to that.
Lists of nations and their visa requirements you find here.
The address of the Swiss Embassy in your Nation you find here.

By Local Bus:
From the Davos Dorf train station you can take bus number 7 towards Glaris. The ride is about 20min long. Jump out the stop called Mühle.
Davos lies at the heart of Grisons in east Switzerland. From Zürich, take the A3/A13 motorway (follow the green signs) towards Chur until reaching Landquart. From Landquart continue on canton road 28 to Davos. Note that you will need a motorway vignette (CHF 40.00) for motorways in Switzerland. This is available at all border controls, petrol stations and post offices.
In the winter, heavy snowfalls may make snow chains essential from Klosters (unless arriving by all-wheel vehicle).
As you arrive in Davos, drive all the way through Davos and after the town continue for about 7km. You will pass through a small village called Davos Frauenkirch, continue driving and you will come to Davos Glaris. Right at the beginning, to the right is the YWAM Davos Center.
