The School of Ministry Development (SOMD ) This introductory level leadership courses is designed as an in-service programme with the goal of training team members and leaders, equipping them for servant leadership and giving opportunity for personal growth and development. Topics like understanding YWAM history and values, spiritual disciplines for leaders, time management, fundraising, personal ministry development, calling, purpose and vision, identity of a leader, conflict resolution, as well as our local expression, vision and values at YWAM Alps - Davos, Switzerland. LTP Phase 1 (SOMD) is part of our Leadership Training Program, equipping students to become excellent team members and reliable ywam staff for up to 4 years. For non-native German speakers we also include a 6 week German Language Seminar each year. The Students will receive 12 credits for the lecture part of this course and an 12 credits for the field assignment part.
